About us

University College Copenhagen is the result of a merger between University College UCC and Metropolitan University College.

University College Copenhagen offers bachelor’s degree programmes, academy profession degree programmes, postgraduate studies and conducts applied research and development activities in welfare-sector subjects such as pedagogy, health, rehabilitation, welfare technology, management, teaching and social work. We also educate nurses, physiotherapists, psychomotor therapists, sign language interpreters and textile and handicraft designers. 

University College Copenhagen has campuses in Copenhagen, North Zealand, Aarhus and Bornholm. University College Copenhagen organises an extensive number of student, staff and teacher exchange programmes, both for study periods and work placements.

As partner and holder of an ERASMUS University Charter, under the European Union's Lifelong Learning Programme, University College Copenhagen is committed to improve access to and transparency of education and training systems in Europe, in particular in promoting coherence between education and training and by improving flexible learning pathways between the different systems.

International, professional and academic networking is at the heart of our endeavours to enhance the quality of our study programmes, professional development activities and research. Besides student and staff mobility, University College Copenhagen is engaged in research and development with a wide range of partnered international educational institutions.

University College UCC and Metropolitan University College merged on 1 March 2018. This website is a temporary website that has been put in place, while we are working on developing a new, full-scale website for the new university college.
