Rules for smoking

University College Copenhagen wishes a smoking-free environment where no one is exposed to secondhand smoking when at work or in school.

In practice, this means:

• KP’s buildings are smoking-free.
• You are not allowed to smoke during school or work hours at KP’s outside premises or neighbouring areas.
• These rules apply to both tobacco and e-cigarettes.
• The rules count for everyone at KP, including external consultants, workmen, guests, etc.

Go for a walk if you want to smoke

If you need to smoke, you can go for a walk at least 100 metres away from any of KP’s buildings.
Please avoid smoking at any of KP’s outside premises or neighbouring areas where the smoke can bother other people at the entrances, shops, schools, playgrounds, etc.
