Language, culture and Danish course

As an exchange student at University College Copenhagen (KP), you have the opportunity to learn Danish. You may attend the free Danish Education Program provided by Studieskolen on campus.

KP offers Danish language and culture courses in cooperation with Studieskolen. The course takes place during the semester.

You need a Danish CPR number (a social security number) to attend the course.

The teaching is adapted to the needs of exchange students with courses focusing on basic communication in Danish. The course meets the requirements of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) at A1 level.

Instruction in Danish language is combined with insight into Danish culture, thereby enhancing your opportunities in relation to studies, work, and leisure time in Denmark.

  • The Danish classes give you the opportunity to meet and socialize with other international students from different programs.
  • Classroom instruction on a University College Copenhagen campus takes place once a week: Focus on oral communication and pronunciation as well as basic grammar.
  • 24-7 access to an online learning platform, making it possible to supplement classroom instruction when and where you wish, at your own pace and level.
