This module focuses on the development and place of special needs pedagogy in the Danish Primary and Lower Secondary school.
The teacher’s work with pupils in challenging learning situations is central. The module focuses on planning, analyzing and reflecting on the particular organization of learning environments and the understanding of specific pedagogical efforts and actors in the interplay between general pedagogy and pedagogy for children with special needs.

The module is based on national and international research and empirical knowledge on teaching learners with special needs and learners in complex learning situations.
