KP Virtual International Week 2021

The global classroom – engaging with the world

Due to Covid-19 the annual KP International Week is going virtual. Therefore, University College Copenhagen (KP) invites lecturers across borders and educational fields to join us for our first Virtual International Week taking place in 2021 from March 22 to March 24.

KP international week 2021 will thematize The Global Classroom by asking how to facilitate virtual learning environments that enables students to engage with the world and provide key global competences. Covid-19 has challenged international collaboration, but the pandemic has also forced us to interact in new digital ways. We therefore invite you to take part in important discussions on how to strengthen global and intercultural learning opportunities virtually.

Join us in our effort to create a global classroom through

  • online guest lecturers
  • collaborative online international learning exchanges between your students and KP students
  • keynotes
  • staff webinars focusing on international exchange of knowledge and collaboration
  • and a one-day online virtual educational fair where you are given the opportunity to present your institution for KP students and staff.

In the registration you can indicate which of the days and activities you wish to participate in.

Join us to give a presentation about your university/program for KP students and staff interested in mobility at your university

Listen to a keynote session and take part in webinars about the Global Classroom theme and other interdisciplinary themes.

Student panel discussion outcome of internationalization in education

  • Keynote discussing digitalization in education (to be confirmed)
  • “How can we work towards more sustainability at campus and as part of our educational programmes?” Dialogue between Green Offices in Europe
  • “Building schools in a refugee camp” Presentation by former KP teacher student Maren Elise Skjerlie Gilling (to be confirmed)

Take part in virtual staff meetings and exchange knowledge on i.e. international courses, curriculum, internship, research, projects.

15.00-16.00 Empowering Education: Experiences from a Joined Semester Program – International Coordinator Sabine Lam and partners

Individual schedules: Learning sessions and educational webinars

Match up with KP lecturers to do collaborative online international learning sessions and webinars for KP students and maybe also your own students.

The Early Childhood and Social Education, Teacher Education and Psychomotor therapy Education at KP are interested in planning Collaborative Online International Learning between students as well as online guest lecturers with you as partners.

Registration will open late November 2020 – Registration deadline will be 10th of February 2021.
